Amalyah Munoz

Amalyah was introduced to Flamenco dance at the age of 13 by Inés Arrubla in Western Massachusetts. She continued her Flamenco training through high school and while attending Smith College in New York City and Spain with renowned artists such as Omayra Amaya, Andrés Marín, Juana Amaya, El Oruco, and El Torombo. In 2018, she joined Jesús Muñoz Flamenco and trained intensively as an apprentice under Jesús Muñoz. She currently performs with the company as well as teaches with the company’s affiliate dance school, Flamenco Works in Albuquerque, NM.
